IBEW Hour Power, a national online news program that highlights the work of the IBEW and NECA construction work, published a video featuring the story of Steve Fife, a local journeyman electrician who was named the international union’s 2012 Instructor of the Year.
Steve Fife, IBEW Local 573 trainer and journeyman electrician with Joe Dickey Electric, was named the IBEW Hour Power “2012 Instructor of the Year.”
The video explores Fife’s role as a fourth-year apprentice instructor at IBEW Local 573’s Electrical Trades Institute in Warren. It includes interviews with Local 573 business manager Jack Morse and instructor colleague Bill Beck.
In addition to his instructor role, Fife works for Joe Dickey Electric of North Lima, a member contractor of NECA-IBEW Electricians.
