The lights are dimming on another year, and 2024 brought a host of activity for NECA-IBEW Electricians.
Projects spanned the Mahoning Valley – from new construction, renovations, lighting at a football stadium, generator and EV charger installations, work at manufacturing facilities, the YSU planetarium, and more.

In addition, there were moments where electricians connected to the community through events and charity work.
As the area’s most trusted electrical professionals prepare for 2025, it’s a good time to look back at the top 10 stories of 2024:
- Apprenticeship or college tuition: What does the math say?
- IBEW Local 573 memorial scholarship in honor of Adam Connelly
