NECA-IBEW Electricians learned the latest in LED lighting technology and troubleshooting at an education seminar held this week.

“The event was the first in a planned series of educational seminars geared to arm our electricians and signatory electrical contractors with the information they need to stay up-to-date with the latest technology and troubleshooting techniques available in the field,” said Bill Booth, IBEW Local 64 president.

Attendees learned about two distinct topics at the seminar:

– How to choose, control and troubleshoot LED lighting, and

– Devices: USB receptacles, smart phone apps, push-button disconnect switches and 2-10 gang floor boxes.

“Our industry changes so much, and technology is always improving, so sessions like this help us keep our edge and enable the contractors we work with to offer the latest, most efficient solutions available on the market,” said Jack Morse, IBEW Local 573 business manager.
